The program impacted several communities across Lagos State including Owode Onirin/Ajegunlé/Odo-Ogun, Agboyi Ketu/Alapéére/Agidi/Orisigun/Kosofe/Ajelogo/Akanimodo, Ikeja, and Ilara Epe. A total of 2,600 participants were trained across these locations.

Key highlights of the program include:

  • High participant engagement: Participants demonstrated enthusiasm and eagerness to learn, often exceeding expectations in their creativity and skill development.
  • Community impact: The program contributed to community development by providing valuable skills and opportunities for economic empowerment.
  • Overcoming challenges: Despite logistical challenges, especially in managing large participant numbers, the program successfully delivered its objectives.
  • Partnership success: The collaboration between ThreeFold Impact and the Remi Odunsi Organization proved instrumental in the program’s success.

The program faced temporary interruptions due to the 2023 general elections but plans to continue training the remaining participants to achieve the target of 5,000 empowered women and youths.

Overall, the SAEP has been a significant success in empowering individuals and contributing to community development.
